Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz Fight CBD Scammers

Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz Fight CBD Scammers

Today, we are issuing a major fraud alert. Many people are unaware of the numerous scammers promoting products using stolen images of popular celebrities. These scammers pretend that these well-known and respected individuals endorse their products. This has happened to me and to Robin. Past scams have seen celebrities speaking out against this deceitful practice.

Often, you might see an ad that appears genuine, claiming a famous celebrity endorses an incredible product. However, these celebrities have stated that these ads are completely false. For example, ads falsely claim that Dr. Phil’s wife has filed for divorce and that he is leaving his show due to a discovery related to his wife Robin McGraw’s lifestyle brand. In reality, everything in these ads is untrue and unconnected to them.

Another example is Tyler Perry, who clarified that he is not giving away anything on Facebook or any money. His team constantly works to shut down these fraudulent activities. The same applies to products falsely linked to celebrities like Christy Brinkley, Ellen DeGeneres, or Sandra Bullock. If their name isn’t on it, it’s a scam.

Dr. Phil has teamed up with Dr. Oz to address this issue, as their images have been used in fake ads promoting products like CBD. They emphasize that they have never endorsed any CBD products and are concerned not just about the misuse of their names, but also about the potential theft of money and health from their viewers.

False endorsements and fabricated interviews are being circulated, making outrageous claims about these doctors’ involvement in CBD products and guaranteeing results. Both Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have categorically denied these claims and have never been involved in selling such products.

They stress that the issue goes beyond just the misuse of their names; it’s about the potential harm to people’s health and finances. Dr. Phil urges viewers to share their stories or questions about these scams.
